Pulsara Around the World - September 2022

Pulsara Around the World - September 2022

August Recap

August flew by in the blink of an eye. While our teams only attended three trade shows, the end of the trade show season is going to prove to be busier than ever. Before we get to that, let's look at what we were up to in August.

Newly Released BMJ Publication Demonstrates Improved Patient Care with Pulsara

In August, the British Medical Journal (BMJ) released a new paper authored by an Australia-based team of clinicians and researchers. The study demonstrates the real-world use of a multidisciplinary app (Pulsara) to improve prehospital communication and timelines for acute stroke/STEMI care. The paper, which features Pulsara customer Ambulance Victoria, demonstrates that Pulsara improves prehospital communication and timelines for STEMI and stroke care. Read the study here

COMING UP September 2022:

SEPTEMBER 6 - 7 | AMBULANCE LEADERSHIP FORUM | LEICESTERSHIRE, UK

The Ambulance Leadership Forum will spotlight the challenges facing UK ambulance services to meet and improve clinical outcomes. One of these challenges includes staffing shortages. While there's no one solution, leveraging telehealth can help your teams work with what they have while easing some of the stress smaller crews face. Visit Pulsara table 19 during the conference to learn how we can help.

SEPTEMBER 9 - 10 | ICCA STROKE 2022 | FRANKFURT, DE

While most of ICCA Stroke 2022 focuses on acute stroke interventions, there will be topics that shine a light on building an interventional stroke center. No stroke center is complete without a comprehensive communication tool. Stop by Pulsara's table during breaks to see how you can leverage our platform to improve treatment times and provide the best possible stroke patient outcomes.

SEPTEMBER 9 - 11 | MN EMS MEDICAL DIRECTORS CONFERENCE | ALEXANDRIA, MN

What does improving patient care for your organization or region look like to you? Visit Pulsara's Founder & CEO, Dr. James Woodson, and Regional Vice President - U.S. North, Dave Zaiman, at Pulsara's table during the MN EMS Medical Directors Conference (or visit the link above to set up a meeting while they're at the conference) and let them know! They may have the communication solution you've been searching for.

SEPTEMBER 15 - 17 | 18TH INTERNATIONAL ROUNDTABLE ON COMMUNITY PARAMEDICINE | ORLANDO, FL

This year's International Roundtable on Community Paramedicine is taking place in the U.S. in Orlando, FL. Supporting community paramedicine programs has become a specialty of ours in recent years. With a platform built to handle a myriad of interactions and patient types, essentially replacing the radio report and providing teams with a way to care for low-acuity patients, we welcome the opportunity to show EMS teams how they can leverage the Pulsara platform to implement these practices at their organization.

SEPTEMBER 21 - 22 | MONTANA HEALTHCARE CONFERENCE | BILLINGS, MT

Located in Pulsara's home state, the 2022 Montana Healthcare Conference focuses on "Community. Collaboration. Connection." Healthcare leaders across the state will learn, network, celebrate the accomplishments of Montana's healthcare community, and connect with potential innovative business partners like Pulsara.

SEPTEMBER 21 - 22 | OREGON STROKE CONFERENCE | BEND, OR

Pulsara's Regional Director, U.S. West, Bet Martin, will represent Pulsara at the Oregon Stroke Conference. Visit Bet at Pulsara's table in between sessions to learn how Pulsara customers achieved a 59% reduction in average door-to-needle times for stroke patients receiving tPA, decreasing from 110 to 46 minutes, and how teams at your organization can achieve similar results.

SEPTEMBER 21 - 22 | UAMS Stroke Program Conference | Hot Springs, AR

Designed to provide the latest evidence-based practice recommendations for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke and how to utilize digital health in the treatment of stroke, one of the objectives of the UAMS Stroke Program Conference is to improve stroke care in Arkansas. Don't forget to visit Pulsara's CS Specialist U.S. South, Chris Moline, at our table during conference breaks!
