Pulsara is a communication platform that connects teams.
Pulsara is committed to helping your community in these difficult times. Instead of viewing the COVID-19 pandemic as a business opportunity, we are here to serve. Our Purpose is to improve the lives of patients and caregivers through innovative communication. Therefore, in these times of need, we are offering our communication platform to help communities effectively manage COVID-19 at no charge. We are keeping our COVID-19 page up to date, so you can use it as a resource to understand the different scenarios we support.
In healthcare, we are all faced with a litany of complex questions. Many of us don’t have the technologies in place that can operationalize the protocols we are trying to develop and fear we don’t have time to implement the needed solutions. Pulsara is committed to helping those who need us.
Pulsara is a communication platform that connects teams. What makes Pulsara unique? We can dynamically build care teams even across organizations and enable Networked Communications.
What is Networked Communications?
Traditionally, we open up multiple different communication channels for a single patient event. We use pagers, fax machines, radios, and phone calls, making it impossible to keep the entire care team aligned for the duration of the event. This is especially true when the system is being stressed or we are coordinating inter-organization resources.
With Pulsara, we leverage mobile technology so the entire care team is united on a single communication channel for a patient event and can use live audio and video calls, audio clips, team messaging, photos, geolocation for ETA, partner technology integrations, and other multimedia tools.
Because we leverage ubiquitous mobile technology that is easy to sterilize, Pulsara doesn’t face the resource scarcity and sterilization challenges often experienced with other telemedicine solutions.
To use Pulsara, there are 3 basic steps:
1. Create a dedicated patient channel to be used for an event.
On our dedicated COVID-19 landing page, we demonstrate various scenarios. We can help you address very focused and simple COVID-19 workflows or patch together a more comprehensive system of care.
2. Build your care team.
You can add a new organization, team within an organization or an individual.
3. Communicate.
Instead of relying only on multiple fragmented phone calls, you can also leverage live video, photos, vital signs, audio clips, messaging, and other multimedia tools.
Our mission is to unite and empower people to improve health by simplifying care coordination. Please let us know how we can help you serve your community in these difficult times.
