FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BOZEMAN, MT -- May 18, 2018 -- Pulsara announced today the release of app version 8.1. The full release notes sent out by the company are as follows:
We’re back at it again with another release notes for your reading pleasure. Seriously, it’ll be short and sweet, just like a Montana summer. Just reaching out to let you know of a few small, commonly requested items we’ve added in the past few weeks.
Take a look, let us know your thoughts, and reach out with any questions!
NOTIFICATIONS
You know how if you left the Pulsara app on the PIN screen for a while, notifications could stack up and you'd have to tap "OK" multiple times before continuing? Ugh. Annoying.
Now, those notifications appear as a banner, and then move to the iOS Notification Center so you can see them if you need them, but they don’t hold your phone hostage anymore.
Simply swipe down from the top of the iOS screen to see the Notification Center.
PATIENT SPECIFIC ALERT TOGGLE
Some of you get extra chatty after a case is stopped ... giving praise, uploading before/after images of the Cath, sending cat-heart-eyes emojis. It’s so great.
Other folks on the team (who might have gone back home to sleep) want to be able to silence these alerts, but the per patient alert setting used to be disabled for a stopped patient.
Now, as long as anybody can add images or messages, everybody else can press the MUTE button.
TRAINING & VIDEOS
Need a refresher on how to turn your alerts off … or anything else?
We got you.
In version 8.1, we also added a “training and videos” link, which will take you to all of the resources you might need to access, right from within the app.
Pssst, don’t forget to check out the super slick area of our website we built just for you to learn how to do anything in the Pulsara app!
PRO TIP: Bookmark our Training resources on your computer so you can access tutorials there too!
EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT
ARRON PADUAEVANS
The Pulsara team has been growing faster than a rabbit family in the middle of spring. Meet one of our newest hires, Arron. Beyond serving as a Regional Client Development Specialist for the Southeast, Arron is also the only Pulsara employee who has kissed a famous actress (whose name rhymes with Schmuliette Schmlewis)!
Arron’s medical experience is vast to say the least. He began in the Air Force as an EMT before transferring to the Navy as a surgical tech. He eventually earned a Master’s degree in disaster and emergency preparedness. Arron has also worked as a paramedic, a firefighter, and a pediatric life flight paramedic, and most recently as the Director of Emergency Services for the State of Arkansas. But Arron isn't stopping there. His next step? A doctoral degree in disaster and emergency preparedness.
Whew! Please help us give a warm welcome to Arron, and if you’re in the southeastern United States, look for him at an upcoming site visit!
